On April 25, 2026, we welcomed hundreds of student musicians, educators, and jazz lovers to the 2026 JazzEd Festival at Wayne State University — and what a day it was. From outstanding performances by local school bands to inspiring workshops and engaging expo booths hosted by our incredible partners, the festival was a celebration of Detroit’s vibrant jazz community and its future.
